Our battery separator module is a reliable and efficient solution for managing two battery banks in vehicles and boats. With two variants available, the 1318 and 1319, the module comes equipped with an integrated relay for 28V systems. The 1318 module is designed for unidirectional use and monitors the main battery, charging the auxiliary battery only when the main battery exceeds the connect threshold. On the other hand, the 1319 module is designed for bidirectional use and keeps a check on both the main and auxiliary battery banks. If either bank crosses the connect threshold, the relay connects both banks, ensuring efficient charging. To preserve the starting battery capacity for engine cranking, the disconnect threshold is set at a nominal 25.7V, which is close to the full charge resting voltage of the batteries.
